Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, the leader of the world proletariat, was born on April 22, 1870, in the city of Simbirsk, Russia. He was born into a family of intellectuals, his father was a teacher, and his mother was a housewife. From an early age, Lenin showed great interest in politics and social issues. He studied law at Kazan University and later became a lawyer.
Early political career
Lenin's political career began in the early 1890s when he joined the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party. He quickly rose through the ranks of the party and became one of its most influential members. In 1903, Lenin founded the Bolshevik faction of the party, which later became the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
